Country Bear Cabin is the perfect cabin for families or groups of friends looking to relax. We are located in the beautiful Wears Valley area only 10 minutes from stop light #3 on the parkway in Pigeon Forge. The cabin features 3 bedrooms, each on their own level, and 2.5 bathrooms. The theater room on the lower floor also has a futon that can act as a 4th bedroom for privacy.

The backyard and porch have a beautiful view with no other cabins blocking it. You can hear the creek trickling at the bottom of the mountain which gives you an automatic sense of peace. This cabin is not part of a community so you have the outdoor space all to yourselves to enjoy nature or the rustic charm inside the cabin.

Guest access

You will be provided a door code specific to you before check-in. No need to meet anyone for keys. You get the whole house and private back yard to yourselves.

There is very little cell phone service but we pay for the best WIFI. Choose to disconnect or turn your WIFI calling on when you arrive and the cell phone will operate as normal.

The cabin is on a paved mountain road but it is steep. Once you get to the top, the driveway is flat.

Other things to note

-Guest must be 18+ to book (children under 18 must be accompanied by an adult)

-8 Humans Max

-Private parking for up to 3 vehicles

-Quiet time is 11PM

-This is a no smoking property. If you smoke inside there will be an extra $500 minimum cleaning fee charged.

-As much as we love our furry children, there are no pets allowed at the cabin. If you bring a pet you will be asked to leave immediately and we reserve the right to charge an additional $500 fee.

-We provide an initial supply of toilet paper and paper towels but you might need to purchase more if you have a longer stay.

-There are bears that live in Tennessee. You may see one during your travels in the Smoky Mountains. If you see one, do not approach it and do not feed them. We want them to remain in nature away from humans and not feeding them helps accomplish that.

-There is a bear proof bin that the trash cans are in. Please place your trash in the cans, inside the bin.

-The house is on a well. The water is safe to drink but feel free to bring your own if you prefer bottled spring water.

-The inside fireplace is shut down April 1st to October 1st and this is standard for every cabin in the area. You can still enjoy the outside fire pit year round!

-If you are pregnant or have been drinking, we recommend you do not use the hot tub.

-We can not accommodate late check-out or early Check-in. We pride ourselves in having a clean cabin for you to stay in so we must give our cleaning team enough time to do their job in between guests.

-If you are late to check out, we reserve the right to charge $2.00 per minute past your scheduled 10AM checkout.

-A lot of people have sensitive skin so we ask that you bring your own soaps, shampoos and toiletries.

– Our kitchen is stocked with the essential cookware but we do not provide condiments, zip locks, etc. You can pick up your favorite condiments at the local country store, Whaleys, or the nearby Walmart.

-Although you are in the woods and there are plenty of sticks around, we suggest picking up a small pile of firewood at the local gas station on your drive in. Bonfires and smores in the backyard are one of our favorite activities at our cabin!

-At our home, you can enjoy nature at its finest. We are on a comprehensive pest control program with regular treatments by a local professional but our location means that you may have experiences with critters of the 4, 6 or 8 legged variety. To help ensure they stay outside, please keep the doors closed at all times.

-We do not have space for RVs or tailors to turn around in our driveway so we do not recommend bringing them.

–Lawn care happens every 3 weeks and we can’t control what day it happens. It may be while you are staying at the cabin. They are usually in and out in 30 minutes.

-The cabin is on a paved mountain road but it is steep. Once you get to the top, the driveway is flat. In the winter, if there is snow, we recommend 4 wheel drive.

Office business hours: 8AM-6PM Eastern Standard 7 days per week.

Book a Stay

We can not wait to come back at stay again! We have talked about looking for property that area! The location was wonderful, well wooded, and secluded. The theater room with the throw back video game was fun. Jacky was quick to communicate and very helpful to our requests. We would recommend this property.

This cabin is exactly what we were looking for, a very peaceful and secluded place to stay. The entire cabin was very clean. We couldn't have been happier with our stay. This was truly one of the best Airbnb's we've ever stayed at. Thank you!

Such a beautiful cabin in a fabulous location. It was very easy to find and close to both Pigeon Forge as well as Gatlinburg. Everything was as described. Jacklynn is an amazing host and I would definitely recommend her cabin to anyone.
